Hydrocodone- Liver pains?

Alright, so I got a bunch of hydros (25) and they are seven-fives.

Last night I ate 6 all at once and had a good time and whatnot. This morning, I woke up and noticed that right below my ribcage, on the left side of my body, if I were to press on that area, it was some-what painful.

Now these hydro's are 7.5/750, so thus I took 4,500 mg's of acetaminophen with that dose last night. So my question is, did I hurt my liver? Is that area (below ribcage, lefthand side of body) even where your liver is located? So I decided to check the a tylenol package, it says do not exceed 8 tablets (4,000 mg acetaminophen) per-day. However, this is over the course of a whole day, as opposed to a 4500 mg blast of acetaminophen which I took all at once with those hydros...

Call me paranoid, but I've read many horror stories involving acetaminophen and the liver... I cant think of anything I did that would cause that area to be sore when I press on it, other than taking too many hydros. (For the record I thought they were 500mgs of acetaminophen, not 750..)

Is this bad? Should I see a doctor? And do you think I may have caused any lasting or permanent liver damage? Also, would it be a bad idea to take any more tonight, even at a much more reasonable dose (2-3)?

yo dude you got the worst vicodins you can get cuz yours have 750mg APAP in each one. The recommended maximum daily dosage for apap is 4,000mgs. So basically just do the math and don't eat more then 4,000mgs of apap. 4000/750 = 5 pills a day.
or you could do a cold water extraction on all ur pills and that will get rid of the apap,.

Yeah, I'm pissed there is so much damn acetaminophen in them.

Like I said, when I got them, I thought they were 7.5/500mgs of acetaminophen, otherwise I would not have taken so many last night. This morning, I woke up, felt that pain and decided to do a search on these pills... and yup theres 750mgs in each. FUCK.

However, I didnt exceed the recommended daily dose by THAT much, I mean I was only 500mgs over. My concern is that taking them all at once like that is probably a lot harder on the liver than taking them sporadically throughout the course of a day. I read somewhere that it is toxic to the liver in doses of 10-15 grams. This would be 10,000- 15,000 mgs of acetaminophen, and I was nowhere close to that so I think I'll be alright. Still, ingesting lots of it is probably not good, just not immediately hepatoxic which is what I was afraid of.

Anyways, the pain is only felt when I press on my lefthand side, just below the ribcage and just above the hip-bone. This is not the area where your liver is located is it? I thought the liver was in your upper body more...

Well anyways, I just ate 3 more. Possibly going to eat another one or two by the end of the night.

Does anybody else have any input on this? I'm still kinda concerned...

Your liver is on the right/middle side under the ribcage. If there has been any damage then it will repair itself over time. Also, I would keep away from alcohol while you are taking hydrocodone because alcohol can hurt the liver too.

Yeah, I wouldn't ever drink while taking hydro's.

I wonder why the hell that spot is so damn sore then... I didnt hit it or anything, and there is no external marks/bruises, but when I press on it, it feels as if something is sore internally, and I did not notice this until the morning after I took those Vicodin.

its simply heart rate problems, i know for shure its just that, but ur ok tho, i took 11 hydros in 1 day once (hydro only 1s) and after the 11th once the high was going away i had changing heart rate for arounds 4 hours,, allitle scary, but yea ull get pressure or soreness around there,,, its very rare tho
depends on how often u do them
i think that is 1 reason vicodin became so rarely perscribed,, besides abuse

oh, if u dont do hydros often,, take a break between so many of them if uve taken allot without any break, the comedown even not noticable is stronger the longer u go around with the stuff in your sistem (i think u should already know).. take like a 8 hours break

take a polimineral/polivitaminical and eat healthy and your liver well be good ,and sure a week of medications for him to repair
