Just got a phone all from a friend who came into town from the site.
He has verizon but couldn't get cell service there.
Last town for supplies and gas stations to the south of the site
is Clarksville. They may be a gas station closer with limited hours of operation, but my friend didn't see one. Clarksville is 25-30 miles south of the gathering and the nearest bus stop.
Last town for supplies and gas stations to the west is the Fayetteville area. However road 16 from Fayetteville is underconstruction and slow going.
Recommendations: Drive during the day as the roads are slow and windy.
Bring long sleeved clothing and long pants to protect against bugs and posionous plants. Be prepared for warm and wet weather. Tents are very important to keep bugs and rain off you while sleeping.
PARKING IS AN ISSUE
Folks on the land are working on a remote parking location and shuttle service to the site. Please car pool or take the bus. No real place for parking large motor homes.
