All folks interested in working with CALM this year should get on the CALM e-mailing list asap. You catch the CALM link at www.welcomehome.org (http://www.welcomehome.org/) They are a little behind in rounding up supplies & can use any donations and/or help that folks wish to offer.

I recall from the spring clownshow before the WV Gathering that CALM needs $3000 start-up money every year for expendable supplies like Ace bandages, gauze, tape, radio batteries, (at least some of that is solar, now) Betadine, Peroxide, Alchohol...

Hippies start hurting themselves on day one of seed camp, but the donations don't start to roll in till the week of the 4th.

Do I understand from your post that they're having personnel problems and supply problems? A lot of the old hands sitting this one out?

Not so much personal problems as 'oops June is here already' problems but yes, there are a few folks who are sitting this one out. I'll forward the posts to you.

I usually keep the kitchen med kit full of boo-boo supplies, lots of triple antibiotic cream, alcohol, peroxide, gauze, tape, ace bandages, ect. Cuts fester soo fast when you're in the woods!
