And the fun just never ends ;) Got this e-mail tonight & figured it best to get it passed on:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This in today. Sorry for the confusion, but I'm not really
in the loop on this, so I can't tell you which information is more
accurate. Two sets of info from two different people.
Have fun, drive safe, spread peace and love,
K.
Folks are currently assembling and counseling at Cartney Access for
spring council. Call from the scouts is that folks should show up at
Cartney access as soon as they can. Our strength is in numbers. They
are hoping they will not need to move from there to Nimrod on the
15th but that is still being worked out. Folks are settled into
Cartney and feel the move is unnecessary.
It should be stressed that this is not the gathering site and won't
be. This site cannot support a large scale gathering. It is simply a
holding camp and council spot. I spoke to the scouts this morning and
they are meeting with local resource folks and others tomorrow to try
to hammer out final arrangements with the site they have in mind.
They say the FS is working with them well in cooperation and that it
is mostly local resource folks with just Tom Florish (sp?) from ICT,
but he is also working with them.
There are several directions and folks have e-mailed me with
clarifications. I have done my best to merge the directions into one
and so the revised directions are.
Directions are: The council site Called Cartney Access and is near
Buffalo Cuty (114) It is along the Buffalo River from Cartney Access
to Buffalo City.
From Mountain Home Arkansas take 201 south 11 miles, turn right on
341 (Push Mountain road).
Or From Norfork Arkansas Take 341 north . 341 splits so take West
fork or 201. Eventually 201 turns and becomes 341 again (Push Mountain Road.
Go 7-8 miles to Hwy 72. There should be a Cartney White river access
sign and Cartney store, turn right (West). Go 4/10 mile across a
small creek to CR-114. PAY ATTENTION: There will be a LARGE SIGN that
says 72 is turning DO NOT TURN- stay on the road on which you are
driving that IS 114. Continue for 2 miles and you will arrive at a
larger pile of ROCKS (careins) and YOU ARE THERE.
If there is any confusion follow the road to main White river channel.
********FORWARDED EMAIL #2********************
REMEMBER THE ICE-
For those going to Cartney Access
XXX just called and said folks were having problems with the
directions that are out. The following are the latest as of 7:40
somebody's time. With The Note - The County Store (Ray's) at 314 and
72 HAS BLOCK ICE!
The town of NORFORK is 20 miles south of MT. Home.
Out of NORFORK take Hwy 314 MAY BE 341 (only road to and South out of
Norfork)- go 8 miles to the Country Store @ County Road 72 - Turn WEST
on 72 and go .4 miles (that is 4/10ths of one mile) to road 114- PAY
ATTENTION: There willbe a LARGE SIGN that says 72 Is Turning - DO NOT
TURN- stay on the road on which you are driving - that IS 114 AND
Continue for 2 miles and you will arrive at a larger pile of ROCKS
(careins) and YOU ARE THERE.
There is suppose to be a meeting with resource today but it will still
be several days before anyone can even start to discuss areas. XXX
is out and XXX is leaving tomorrow or the next day. So drive carefully
on them thar roads.
