I was a bit town between Des Lynam and Trevor McDonald. Had to go with Des for all his faithful Match of the Day service.

I voted Trevor Mac D.
A Great British institution if ever there was one.
I was very sad to see Russell Brand with the same amount of votes. Overrated knob who's so trendy and stylish that someone else tells him what to wear. Like some sort of modern day Kenneth Williams ('ooh, I say!') who, despite being quite camp, seems to have a macho and "I'm straight, me. I don't have a problem with being gay and that but, you know, I'm straight, honest. I got loads of gay friends, me." edge to him. Dickhead. Someone gave him a thesaurus for christmas and thick people think he sounds intelligent because he remembered a few long words, in reality he ends up sounding like some kids GCSE english paper being read by an Essex Kenneth Williams...
Sorry for the rant, him being famous is yet another one of the things I feel is wrong with this country hehe.

I have similar feelings about Russell Brand, I find him to be quite irritating, but he can be funny at times.
Don't worry...J only voted for him because she thinks he's cute!

Thank you-thank you so fucking much! You said everything that I was going to say, but better, and I couldn't agree more with you!
I also voted for Trevor MacDonald, and also agree with you about him being a great British institution. He shows a good model British, and an extremely good representative for this country. Although if Richard or David Attenborough was on the list, I would have had a hard choice between the three.

I'm not a big Chris Moyles fan - but he has deffinitly chilled out - not so much with the ego.
What made me piss myself was when Alan said something about 50cent - - i had too wipe the tears away.

Alan Rickman, duh. also Liam Neeson and David Thewlis and all those other lovely lovely actors the UK has brought forth (Hugh Grant is not one of them).
I voted for Trevor Macdonald, partly because (to use an Americanism) all the others suck, and also because I thought he was a good news reader with appropriate gravitas.

Des O connor cos no one voted for him and i can't be bothered to find out who everyone is... All the people on that list are pretty old - of ones i know.
Terry Wogans comments on Eurovision make me wanna scream at him!! He is so judgmental and harsh! Hes not even funny - all he does is make jokes at other people and cultures. I'd like to see him get up on there and try...
