2-3 month old plant made from two stem cuttings (wasson strain) that were taken from a different plant. basically i cut off a branch with a thick stem, break off the leaves and cut the branch into segments about the length of my finger. they grow roots at the nodes when put in a cup of water for two weeks( water changed daily), i planted two rooted stem cuttings in a 12 inch plastic pot with potting soil mixed with perlite, and placed it outside on the deck where only an hour or two of direct sunlight hit it.
each cutting grew two shoots whose stems are now the thickness of my thumbs and as you can see they have made some pretty leaves resulting in a nice full bushy and hardy plant that requires minimal care and is well adapted to the local climate fluctuations, storms, winds, drops in temps ect. they drink rain that falls from the clouds and i feed them with peters allpurpose fertilizer every so often.
questions comments whatever. if you live in chicago i can give you some stem cuttings and you can soon have a plant just like this one.
ps please excuse the photo quality all i had was a webcam..
