I'm totally clueless about this sort of thing. My issue is, KHII: Final Mix/Re: Chain of Memories is out an japan, with a PS2 version of Chain of Memories. This is a huge big deal for me, but if it's anything like last time it won't be released here in the states. That means I'm gonna have to import it. I knew about the mod chips, but I've never bothered with one because you have to take apart the PS2 to install it, and I didn't wanna do that. Someone was just telling me though that you can buy mod chips that plug into your ps2's USB ports. Trouble is, I just googled it, and I have no idea what to look for, how much I should pay for one, or even if the USB port mod actually exists.
I probably need to add that I have the slim ps2.

Someone PLEASE help me! Really now, I'm begging.

www.consolesource.com try them, they are reliable and their prices are eh okay. You can always get the SwapMagic discs to play your import rather than I modchip. That will save you from having to open your PS2.
