my last indoor grow

mostly 100% sativas, still smoking after 1.5 yrs, I think I did well over 2 pounds, I should add that the first one finish at 10weeks and the last 3 took 14 weeks , for a good sativa is worth the wait.

Pretty obvious that you have idea what you're talking about. Some heads like to smoke the sugar leaf, I leave most of it on, manicuring sucks anyway. Those nugs would probably give you a panic attack.

Anyway nicely done. I wish my harvests lasted that long lol. How big was the light, atleast 1k I would think. I've always stayed to indicas but I have some pre '99 kali mist beans I'm thinking of popping next time, I'm just not liking a 11+ week wait.

does look good indeed. personally if i had the equipment, knowhow, means and skill to grow 15 plants or so in a room in my home, i'd probably want to have about 2/3 100% really nice and strong sativas and 1/3 knock-you-on-your-ass indicas.....sativa for normal everyday smoking, indica for a nightcap :P

sorry it has taken so long to reply but I have not been well at all. In regards to the light I started off with a 600Watt and then added a 1000 watt bulb when the plants started to bush out. Growing sativas really isn't that hard: all you need is patience and the ability to wait for the plant to tell you what it needs. If you're growing for your own personal use it is well worth the time spent. Pax

Why bother making hash out of it? The only reason I can see why you would want to make Hash out of it is so that you can carry it around easily. The kief is smokable the way it is and you can also roll it into a joint which makes one fuck of a bomb. Pax

It really isn't all that hard - it's like I said to lune all you really need is patience. If you're ever going to grow both sativas and indicas at the same time you will definitely have problems- because both of them grow differently. Sativas grow tall and quickly and indicas are slow as shit and small. I have at one time grown a sativa dominant plant and an indica - at the same time. They are still commercially available . The sativa is called FLO by DJ Short and the indica is Dutch Treat by Vancouver Seed Company. They are very similar in appearance and their needs for water and fertilizer are similar. I think you've got that mixed around.No I don't have it mixed around, I was referring to how the plants would look if they were grown at the same time not how long it takes to mature: the indica will mature a lot quicker whereas the sativa would take forever to mature. I was referring to their appearance. The sativas that I have grown indoors have been six feet to at least 12 feet while the indicas usually average out at 3 1/2 feet. Pax

You usually don't realize how stoned you are until after at least 15 minutes has passed. Two or three tokes are usually enough to last me anywhere between 2 -4 hours and no - I'm not a rookie. I have been smoking pot for more years than I care to remember. Pax

but technically hash is made from kief so once you have the kief you can make hash from that.

but technically hash is made from kief so once you have the kief you can make hash from that.The strains that I were growing had so many trichromes that the fan leaves looked almost white. There are trichromes on the entire plant with the exception of the roots. The closer you get to the buds the more trichromes you get because the trichromes are on the plant to protect the buds from crawling insects. You really notice it when you are growing outdoors- you will find insects stuck to your plants as they were crawling up.
I used a tumbler to get all the trichromes off the plants to get the kief. One thing I really do not understand - why would you want to make hash out of it when the kief is hash- only it isn't compressed.
