Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds
[Quran chapter "The opening" 1:2]
There is so many things which we have been given without even thinking about it, the skill to walk, to see and hear are all among favours from our lord. I recently thought about the story of a man in a wheel chair who use to- everyday after he woke up in the hospital- pray to Allah(may he be exalted) and ask him to be able to walk just once, just once.
By Allah it is nothing but a test even though people do not recognize it. We frequantly walk, see and hear without even giving a wonder about those who can´t do all that.
Say (unto them, O Muhammad): He it is who gave you being, and hath assigned unto you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! [Quran 67:23]
Praise be to Allah who saved me from being overwhelmed with money, being rich shour has it trials. I remember the soccer pro Maradona during the highpoint of his caree, he couldn´t leave his house without being surronded by huge groups of fans, this has happend to alot of famous rich people and I can imagine that it must be extremly irratating. But I can leave my house without having the need for a team of body guards, I can to buy something in a store without worrying that my parked porshe will not be stolen. I am free from such worries, a buddhist monk once said that he has no worries about his car being stolen, his losing his money, wife and family sense he is in a temple everyday 24/7.
Praise be to Allah who has given me the ability to sleep and the gift of happyness. My uncle once mentioned a story about a rich man who happend to pass by some people(muslims) in an airport, he saw them sitting on the floor and eating food together and he saw one of them sleeping on the floor. The man approached them and then asked who they were and who this man who is sleeping on the floor is, he then told them that he has alot of money, money is not a concern for him but he can not go to sleep at night, he has to take alot of pills to be able to do that. He further said that he would give all his fortune just as to be able to sleep at night, money is indeed not as important as people see it as or the story of a wealthy doctor who use to work all the time, not because of love of money but because if he doesn´t occupy him self with work he´s afraid of taking is own life. Praise be to Allah who has showered me with happyness, if something bad would happen to me than shourly I should take it with patience and put my trust in Allah(may he be exalted). He has given me so much and by Allah I´m pleased.
Praise be to Allah who has given me lovley parents, who has fed me and brought me up. How many children hasn´t grown up in a enviorment full of corruption, where the parents are either divorced or screaming at each other constanly.
And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: ‘My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young’” [quran 17:24]
Praise be to Allah, I have no fortune, no mansion and no girlfriend but I swear by Allah, I love my life.
