Collecting ones empty promises
To bury in the compost pile
Words sliding gracefully from your mouth
Like skin from the bones of prey.

Jolted alive by heavy thunder
In preparation for a bleached land
Empty as the genocide of my morality
Calm violence created tension in lust.

Sickness or re-acceptance
Wallowing, glutton for punishment
I let down the iron curtains
Only to view undisclosed destruction.

"Ugliness is the by-product of comparison." Me.

With this in mind I would like to mention a few invoked sources.
"Thunder Perfect Mind" a gnostic poem. The works "Shekinah & Emergence" by Gila Yellin Hirsch. Last but not least Carolee Schneemann and her "Eye Body" performances. More power to you. Peace.

enthralled by the parasitic whirlwind. close thine eyes and see the truth. they are nothing to you, let them starve. laugh as they kick and thrash from their percieved hunger. Walk away smiling.

much love :)

This was my fave line... it says alot in just a few words.

The overall piece is good stuff too. There appears to be much story that's unspoken but you've revealed tantalizing snippets and let your reader imagine away. More importantly to me, personally, this one's familiar territory.

my soul
use me when you want me,
i've bled to have your touch.

i would have never left you,
but you just pushed me away.

i can't give my soul to you,
because you have already taken it.

and as long as you have my soul,
i will never love,
and i will never be free.
