I don't play much anymore. I'm level 56 or so. I was always more skills-based than combat-based. I especially like questing. I'm still gonna get into the mining guild one of these days. Only seven levels to go.

I've been a member of Runescape for about 3 or 4 years. I'm Astyanaxx. I play religiously for a few weeks, then forget about it for a while. Had a little go about a week ago though. :)

Astyanaxx does not feature in the hiscores. You have to be in the top 1 million (for any skill) and have a minimum skill level of 30.

Yeah, I need to play more. I'm trying to get my smithing level up to lvl 40 so I can smelt gold. Only 5 more to go! Like I said...I'll play for a couple weeks and then forget about it for months. Plus, I've only got 2 more quests to do unless I start paying them.

I died tonight...Was really pissed off!

I was fighting those giant scorpions in Al-Karaz, trying to build my combat levels up, I had some of those kebabs so was just munching them everytime my hit points got a bit low, but then I ate one and apparently it said "this kebab tastes bad and makes you feel very ill" and took off my hit points....

I didn't realise the kebabs could take off hit points lol

So i'm feeling really humiliated because technically I got killed by eating a dodgy kebab...pretty funny though i suppose

I was just joking. I actually quite liked it at one point, but got frustrated at its shitty graphics when I could be playing Diablo 2. That was a joke too.

I dunno, it just seemed like there were too many 12 year olds playing it and the fighting seemed kinda lame. Why not rather get WoW or a good single player RPG?

Graphics mean nothing too me though...It's all about the gameplay...There seems a shit load to do in runescape, all the crafting skills and everything...

WoW doesnt appeal...Don't you have to pay for it too?

Peterness - I too don't care for graphics. They are cool, but gameplay is what matters. That's why I still sometimes play Diablo 2, Starcraft etc.

Maybe I will try playing Runescape again, though I never really got into it. I dunno, maybe I shouldnt play it - there are much better things to do with my time...like watching movies, looking at pron. Again, that was just a joke.

^ nah i disagree. while i was still just become 15 i loved the game when i became member. it was really really cool, but then i kinda grew up and that little bit instanly sepperated me to the point i didnt find playing a game of 10 year olds fun anymore. i had a lvl 75 with about 1 mill cash and maybe another 1 mill in items, and i know how long it took to do all of that, all the wasted nights being bored and mining coal, picking flax and making bowstrings, fishing lobsters etc. so yeah, its an achievement but it is still worthless shit.

LOL, you should have seen the graphics back 5 years ago when I started, Its not about graphic, its about the game play and economy. There are plenty of guides all over the internet that'll tell you how todo anything.

I have to agree though, the new players (RS2) arn't very friendly to noobs.
