Ive never done Dmt but i plan too when i feel prepared

From the various experiences ive read many people have been sent to a kind of dome of color and geometrical shapes

but what really facinates me is the elves

elves that welcome you and give you gifts of light and everchanging substance

If many people experience the same kind of thing using the same drug, then maybe its much more then just a drug, perhaps a door to a different and higher reality

Tell me if you have experienced the Dome and/or the self-transforming elf machines.

A lot of people say that mushrooms feel alot more organic... and if you read some of the earlier trips on mushrooms people were often absorbed by Aztec imagery etc. I think a lot of it has to do with set, it's not just a coincidence. I mean people say that RCs feel synthetic, and that LSD feels much more natural (because it's been used more I suppose, and it's more accepted). Also a lot of people comment that Amanitas and Cactii feel very earthy, and many tribes consistently used psychedelics to visit their own spirit world. Set / preconceived notions are very powerful.

Plus you have to remember people who are posting their experience reports, are undoubtedly also people who have read many experience reports involving elves.

Haven't heard about the dome... but things on DMT look suddenly really far away or really close (while they stay the same size in your eye). Maybe that causes the dome. Geometric patterns are of course often seen. That's just what people see on hallucinogens.

SWIM had never heard of the "dome" until a few times after SWIM first used DMT. Same with "elves". SWIM has experienced being drawn through a dome on many occassions. SWIM would not say that elves have ever been present in his experiences, though there have definitely been humanoid forms with guiding tendancies.

Yea amen to the far away effect... my entertainment center gets that and it looks kinda like futuristic in the past kind of tough to explain. I once felt like I was in ancient egypt in the future (like stargate or something) and there was a higher consciousness in my presence that was a cat. I can't say anything I ever read truly describes what happened on any of my DMT trips.

I agree, but there is something strange about the similarities in different people's experiences on the same substances. I have always seen Aztec like patterns from mushrooms, patterns unlike others on any other drugs. I don't think we see these because we associate them with Aztecs, I think Aztec patterns look the way they do because they ate so many goddamned mushies. They painted what they saw.

That's a good point... they made some trippy art. I haven't done mushrooms, so I really can't say.

I've seen 'Aztec' designs on LSD, mushrooms, and most prevalently on peyote.

I have mostly on mushrooms, but come to think of it I have on LSD as well, just not as pronounced. I don't remember any on mescaline, but I'll try again this weekend just to be sure.

The one time i smoked deamsters I took such a big hit i could barley holdx it in but my friend covered my mouth so i wouldent let it out, it produced a mad wah wah effect everything was pulsating including the sound of the air. Also somebody walked by me and at first i didnt notice them but when i did it startled the shit out of me and along with it came a GIGANTIC rush of energy beyond what i ever experienced before and everything turned white for like 5 seconds and than it faded out and everything had a neon green tint to it. also there were crazy patterns everyware similar to acid only they were crawling around and changing forms.

^^ I wanna be King of the Earth!!

Then you never will be.

Step one to becoming king of the Earth: get rid of your desires.

This.

Though obviously different psychedelics can have different visuals. (lots of pinks and greens w/DMT vs warmer colors w/Lucy etc) applies to both color and patterning.

Aztec/Native American imagery generally drip from SWIM's mescaline experiences, with shrooms there's usually less natural designs. Unfortunately DMT is still untested...

i have been amazing at how similar dmt experiences are.

i saw a huge room full of eyes made of fire, pillars with faces on four sides and a entity floating around me, speaking through thought.

i saw the exact same room in an alex gray painting about a year later...

i wander if there is some sort of connection in dmt worlds? do we all visit the same work just different parts? and some times they overlap... (this explains the similarities between the two trips?)

first time i took shrooms the room around me appeared to shrink into a little box only for a few seconds then simultaneously it erupted into it's original size :D

Interesting read.
I guess the message that DMT conveys is the important part.. not so much the beings that convey it? :)

As for seeing the dome, I've seen a faint version of it on mimosahuasca. A large pillar in the middle and a dome all around, with endless colours.
