View Full Version : Cats Yawn Because There's Nothing to Do
The cat walked by, green eyes
Desire is pointless, a joke
Whether or not you want,
it will all work out okay.
So waste not your time,
wanting and desiring, said the cat.
You'll miss the beauty, the bliss
your eyes will be unclean.
nothing will really matter,
it will all be okay.
all dreams end,
in an awakening,
to reality.
the only thing to do
be happy, said the stool.
it would be a waste,
to miss the greatest.
And so the cat walked on by,
looked me right in the green eye
and yawned, nothing to do.

That's cute but not just puppy love cute, it's thoughtful and sweet.
here's a couple of other entertaining tidbits i wrote.
Space Car Rider
Kiwi, jumbo-jet flyer
space car rider
we've erected castles
on the ashes of ancients
where is the king that
once ruled the land?
Head down, lying
face down, buried in the sand
and will you be a knight
will you believe in the sight
when will the clouds of darkness clear
who will be the bringers of the light?
Her car flies in space
an eternal empty lace
of jokes, strings, dreams
her eyes glow lime green
maybe just not what they seem
her mouth opened laughing
green grass of sun
such a lot of fun
to be here today
c'mon, here's the way
relax your eyes
relax your mind
forget the lies
drift back in time
and you will see
just what I mean
and now you know
and now you go
and now you see
and now you be
one more.
Mouse at the End of Time
There was a cat named Kiwi
she met a mouse, who had a house.
they began talking, over tea
can't be me, oh not me
The mouse began teaching,
"You should have looked for a time warp
to the end of time,
oh don't ask why,
or you must die."
The cat nodded and purred,
the mouse nodded and swerved.
The mouse met a mouse named Minnie.
she was lovely, such a dovey.
Minnie spoke the words,
while she watched the birds,
"I found a split in reality,
where I lost myself,
but became it all,
I didn't care,
I didn't dare,
I began shouting,
I am everything,
I am nothing,
oh where is it?
I've lost it, haha
Where is it, I laughed
I am God, I flapped".
and the cat ate the mouse.
