I was reading "The Book of Lieh-tzu" and got to Chapter 7, the one on Yang Chu. Whoa! This sure isn't like any of the other early Taoist works I've read! There are some who believe that there were two separate Yang Chu's, and some that believe that this particular chapter was the work of someone else entirely. It's really odd to go from reading about the classic Taoist ideas of "non-action", straight into "wine, women and song".
A copy of the chapter is online here: http://www.sacred-texts.com/tao/ycgp/index.htm
Enjoy!
