How can I explain I'm lonely
when thousands of others have said it?
Maybe I'll just sit here and be silent
respectful in thought for those lonely others.

There's really no way to make you feel my convictions,
to make you feel anything.

I can only wish on the stars to bring you back.
Those beautifully constant stars, thay owe me nothing,
yet on them I insistently rely.

the best I can tell ya is:

Get active.

Do something, anything that will keep you from sitting around alone. And I don't mean drugs. Get involved with a group effort of some kind: if it's a new job, make sure you're surrounded by people. If you're out of your comfort zone, all the better.
