I play now and again. Usually just with one other person, though, which isn't as much fun. It's great when you can get in a game with like five other people. There's a comic shop that I used to hang out at a lot, where they play. I keep telling myself I'll get back in there one of these days, but I never do.

I used to play local tournaments. I'm pretty good if I say so myself. I've won well over a few hundred dollars in prizes. Hopefully I'll get to play again one day. :D Nothing makes me happy like sitting down with a few thousand cards and building a deck from scratch.

I played a lot for 5-6 years until around last summer, but I never got into the pro scene. Prereleases were the only events I ever went to. For some reason I just stopped playing, but the cards sit in a box in my room and every now and then I feel like calling someone to play.

Sprout had hundreds (maybe thousands?) of cards, but he sold them for crack money. Okay, not crack, but it was for some stupid reason. I would like to play again, but I don't know anyone around here who plays and I don't want to have to start all over again either.

I played, still got a few hundred of the cards sitting around somewhere, but almost none of them are land cards, which sucks :(

Find a shop that deal with the new and used cards, and you'll have more land than you'll know what to do with.

Whoo-hoo! M:TG! Yeah, I play. I've got a crap-ton of cards. Probably about 10 decks that are put together right now. I started getting cards back in middle school but didn't really learn how to play till late in High School.
Are there any old school M:TG gamers who were really excited when they finished out the Ice Age block with Coldsnap? I sure was. Brought back a use for all of those snow-covered lands I had sitting around.

Ah...Magic! I love it so much! I don't really play anymore but used to play a hell of a lot. I would play if there were a league near here, but we recently moved so I'm not up to date with where the new leagues are here.
What are the new sets like? Any good? I think I missed the last 2 blocks.

The Ravnica block was one of the best they ever put out IMO. The Time Spiral block is kickin ass too. It is reprinting cards from older sets.I just bought a box of Time Spiral and Planar Chaos. I am still sorting cards out. lol LOt's and lot's of multicolored stuff.

I guess I should have mentioned, YES I play MTG. I currently have maybe 20,000 cards. Mostly Onslaught to Planar Chaos. I do have some old cards that I have traded for ,going back to the Urza's block. Right now I am toying around with Slivers. The newer sets were very kind to them.
Re: PoisonedPenny's comment on Coldsnap, They FINALLY gave us a use for Aurochs! (mooo) :)yaaay!
I have maybe 10 decks put together, and am working on a neat combo (PM if you wanna know what it is) Let's just say ,It can clear the table, no matter how many players ;) I have a couple of combo's I like, but I just discovered this one.
PM if you wanna trade ideas for combos or deck construction. I have some mean ones. I am always looking for new combo ideas too.

Man I miss MTG so much :( That excitement of a new set coming out...Pre releases, drafts - all that stuff was so great! :D Is Magic still very popular these days or is it becoming less so?

no way, Magic is as popular as ever, there are a few idiots on the MTG forums who complain with the beginning of every set that Magic is dying but that's just a lot of BS

The on;y time i enjoyed this game is when me and my friends started at the same time so it was really balanced and none of us would ever win flat out. After that ballance is gone it's no fun.
