saright, i played the trial a while ago. fun enough but all the missions start feeling teh same or else it takes three hunderd years to level and train skills and all else and other people running in to "help" you when you dont need it making it tougher. ugh. separate instancing is my friend

If you don't play this game, don't start. I didn't like it at first, but my friends were all playing it and I wanted to play with them. 2 years went by and I was like "wait what? why is it 2007?? It was 2005 just yesterday!!! OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE!?!?" haha well something like that anyway. I remember hitting 60 and running around Orgimmar and going "ok... now what?" But by then I was too hooked. So realistically I played for about 6 months and loved it, then another 1.5yrs and hated it, but couldn't bring myself to hit alt f4... >_>

I don't quite like it. I mean, it is fun to play and addictive, but it is too commercial for me: You don't lose almost anything when you die, you can't be different from others, except for spec or whatever it's called, and there'll always be thousands of those who don't have life and play it all the time and you can never be strong as them. I played it for about 2 months, then it got boring because all players act like npc-s, I mean "WTS this", "NP" and other short stuff that everyone talk (only those stuff they talk) is just killing me, it's as I play with thousands of npcs. I like horde more than the alliance.

P.S. If you didn't, you just MUST watch South Park, episode 'Make love not Warcraft' it's very funny and is about that addiction, but of course that's done in South Park-ish hilarious way :)

I used to play that game like it was my job. I had several level 60 characters (back when 60 was the max), was a member of a number of guilds at different times, and participated in lots of Guild level PvP and Raids.

I think I burned myself out. I stopped playing back in October, and I've tried not to look back. But with Blizzard buying up banner ads all over the net, it gets hard sometimes.

I am not so addicted to this game that real life takes a back seat. Gimme real life any day and I will ditch WoW in a nanosecond. Problem is, I don't have much of a real life. Any time I'm not too sick to do stuff, I have a bajillion things to do, but when I am too sick, it's nice to have WoW to keep my mind occupied.

56 NE priest (retired, sick of her)
47 NE hunter (main)
23 NE rogue (retired, sick of her too)
14 Draenei hunter (my "I wanna play low levels just so I can remember what leveling is like" toon)

ok advice please on a moral issue. im a kind and fair person, try to be the same in wow. but look, it takes about 2-3h to get a ''DECENT'' group to instance. because for 1h u look for a full group. 1h u keep restarting the instance because a guy just had to go eat, lagged and went or just logged for no reason. now then the next hour is because of constant needers or ninjas. u know, u get CAPE OF STAMINA, 2 casters need, rest greed APART from the tank. boom tank gets item that binds on pickup. now how the fuck do you express ur hate? i /rude and start /y multiple offlang bypassing offensive words. tank gets kicked so do i. but i mean 90% need what they dont need, should i start douing it too? i mean fuck i get kicked out of a group- but i get item worht 10g. if i done it id be loaded, i havent had more than 20g atm, 5-10 constant due to skills and new equipment upgrades. but i play fair- and those tampons are loaded for being a prick. should i be a prick also??

i remember i was in darkshire, lvl 60 or something was hanging out there trying to kill me just ouside, but if he comes closer, guards chase him and kill him. so he brings a friend, and they chase me into town, like 6 lvl 65elite guards on them now, they kill me lvl 24 at the time, and jump on me saying kek, and just laughing

it COULD be that your ISP automatically blocks one or more of the ports like if you're at a college campus or something like that, but if you have all the right ports and you have a working cable connection I cant see the problem...what kind of latency do you get?


i used to be a WoW addict but it gets boring if you play too much without ever going outside, lol. I have a 70 draenei mage and a fuck-ton of other characters between lvls 1-50. ill definitely be goin back when the expansions comes out though

Wow Sux..

Been playing games since 1975 and while wow is nice on graphics..
There is little else to uplift it from ' ill sit around at Auction house and show off my gear'. It's great as graphic chat room.. But otherwise...hmmmmmmmmm

Am i experienced.. ? i deleted a lvl 60 paladin cause it was all a waste of time.

There is no story.. it all comes down to raids for little profit but using up your time.
If you can shit the other guy enough you might get a bit of gear..
But most players wont.. It;s like life, the assholes grab the goodies.

The only good thing about wow is that people are generaly more polite than the fukwads on CSS...lol

if you go back, you should pick a more challenging class. it might make it more fun for you. plus, i was never into raiding, but I understand that pallies aren't really priority classes in a guild for getting gear.

I'm a casual WoW player. I don't spend too much time raiding & pvping althought I do have 3 level 70 toons. I've only have gone as far as Gruul's and Kara and I'm happy with that. I take the game as lightly as I can.

As far as pvp goes. I'm in a pvp server, so I'm cool with the enviromental pvp & camping. It's all part of the game right? I sometimes go in bg's after certain patches and nerfing other classes. But majority of the time I don't go cause of ePeen players & highly twinked toons that don't give you a chance to lay a hand on them. It took away serious amount of interest in BG. Especially those that go to the WoW forums and start a "@ <insert name here>" topic just to throw some ridicule at players they beat or criti. Which I totally think is retarded. But other than that, I'm happy with the game & will continue to play it when the expansion comes out.

Good to see someone who really gets their money worth.
Terms like 'twinked toons' shows the humungous depth this game has
achieved in the VL/RL world.
While sitting round the campfire in front of AH i always wondered
'whats the point' ..Was it 'look at my armor'?

Or just something to do.
Thats why when some clot horde rogue managed to sneek into the trench
it was always a fun break from cooking weenies.

i used to play, i was a 70 dwarf hunter on Nazgrel (my comp broke and i couldnt play anymore). quit about 4 months ago. weed is just so much better.

Been Playing Baldurs Gate 2. And realized that not only does BG 2 have 20 times the quests and depth that WoW has..
The Ai personalities are FAR deeper than and live player i ever met on WoW.
I mean Minsc And Boo have more style that a dozen wow players.. And they are scripted AI..

Just goes to show.. most people are not particulary good at anything.
