Please think of tryptamines as a whole, not just LSD and Shrooms, and don't think of MDMA and amphetamines as a phenethylamines.

Tryptamines are better.

In my opinion, tryptamines feel natural and deep.....as if you were meant to ingest them. Phenethylamines feel like nothing more than a stereotypical "drug" experience, as if it's sole purpose is to have fun.

To make an obnoxiously huge generalization, I think phenethylamines lack some of the deep spirituality that tryptamines have... in addition, I absolutely despise amphetamines, and I recognize some similarities between drugs like 2c-b and amphetamines.

I haven't tried mescaline.....well, not successfully, anyway. However, the phens I have tried definitely lack the depth of the trypts I've tried.

I used tryptamines for 20 years before discovering the wonderment of trichocereus pachanoi( San Pedro).
I enjoy phenethylamines now more.I find the journeys to be more organized and wakeful.
I enjoy that. I also enjoy knowing the fact of what I'm putting into my body.There is not that security with synthetic DMT-like drugs.

phens i have done: MDMA and 2c-i. they have given me the best trips of my life. very good. although the comedown is rough with both of them.
tryptamines i have done: shrooms and 4-Acetoxy-dipt("asos" as its called). I love shrooms, the asos not so much. it was interesting the first time but it feels very artificial and leaves you really tweeked after a few hours.
i cant really vote either way because shrooms and x are both awesome. there are still things in both category i wish to try: mescaline and the rest of the 2c-series. and lsd and dmt.

psychadellics are awesome in general.

Phenethylamines indulged in - Mescaline, MDMA, MDEA, M-CPP (meta-chlorophenylpiperazine), whatever chemicals have been in the various pills I've had over the years.

Tryptamines indulged in - LSD, Psilocybin (shrooms), Amanita Muscaria (Fly Argaric), BZP's (if classed as Tryps), DMT.

I don't think amanita's contain any tryptamines. And piperazines(BZP and M-CPP) also aren't phens or trypts, as far as I know.

I have to vote tryptamines, but only because I've only had one PEA experience to date - 2C-B, which didn't seem to be spiritual at all.

for me phens are just chemical emotions (mainly reffering to the MD**'s)
with tryps u feel as though these emotions come from within you
phens just scratch the surface, tryos go a little deeper...x x x
