Dark void filling with pain
over the brain, weeping down my face
sliding it off onto my battered ego
hurting with every touch
every sense it seems to much
to bare witness against myself
Lying on the floor stunned in shock
as my mind wanders feelings not
numb beyond repair, wallowing in despair
nothing left in me I let go
to the world unknown.
