According to Druidry there are four forces:
persuasion, uncertainty, charm and bloody-ness.
Persuasion is what makes the moon come out, uncertainty prevents it from running away from us. Charm get's trees to come out the soil and they decide to stay firmly where they are because of bloody ness.
There is also a thing called culture shock. This can be summed up by imagining that you have spent millenia to create a computer out of rock that will tell you exactly when the sun will rise, set. The moon rising and setting, and all the stars. Then someone comes along with a book that has all that there already including little chatty notes like "Today is a good day to plant runner beans."
Another thing about culture shock is that you do not give it to someone who is flying a thousand tonne rock.
