Yeah its sweet. My roomate even made a custom disc with 64 custom songs that are user made. They have some pretty good songs out there.

LoL, yeah. Playing the guitar isn't that hard. It just takes practice but once you get the basics you can be on your way.

yea, the game is pretty tight. but too expensive. and for some reason i cant play some songs on the game but can play them in real life

i think its kind of a slap in the face to anyone who acually plays guitar. id rather acually play guitar, then play a simulated guitar related game. gives acual decent guitar players a bad name. too many posers play guitar because they think they look cool and because they want to be just like the guy from my chemical romance http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif and this game just seems to kind of reinforce that mentality. ive never played the game, but id imagine its lame and/or boring as hell. sorry to rag on this game for all of you who love it, but ive hated the idea of it since i saw it.

LoL... some of those songs are easier on guitar than on the controller guitar. Very addicting i agree. I also enjoyed Frequency for ps1 and Amplitude for ps2. If you like guitar hero check those games out also. Natrually Phillospher get your head out of your ass <--- i second that

i play guitar and guitar hero.... let me just say that my fingers do not move fast enough for guitar hero HAHA i found it harder than playing actual guitar.................I agree. Even though I did beat GHII on Medium...still can't master Hard yet.

i play both and guitar hero is definitly alot of fun...especially on hard and expert...

i dont see why anyone would bitch about a guitar game...thats like saying halo sucks because you would rather go shoot guns in real life...its a game who cares..try it and you might have fun

Your retarded. How can you judge something before you have even tried it. I play guitar and i enjoy guitar hero very much so. I also know alot of people that i jam with sometime who also enjoy guitar hero. Dont show ur ignorance.

I'm pretty good at both Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero 2. I can play quite a few songs on expert on the first one but I can't go much past hard on the second one. I hope that Guitar Hero 3 that's coming out will be just as awesome with more familiar songs (those are always my most favorite to play). Oh, and I think I play better when drunk. ;P

I love the songs on GH1, but its hard to play without all the kinks worked out. I wish they'd re-release it with the new technology. GH2 is by far the best, I play on expert. (I like Rocks the 80s too.) I was looking forward to 3, but since it's not made by the same people it's not the same. Very grieved over that. A little depressed.

I play a real guitar and i'm good at it and I play guitar hero and i'm good at it. While I do prefer real guitar, i'm not the type to bash guitar hero because i can play the real thing. while i prefer real guitar it is fun to kick back and play a simulated version too, its kind of fun in my opinion. :)
