Any specific types of philosophy? Natural, moral, metaphysical? Any favorite philosophers? I tend to not use the internet as resource seeing as it seems more than less are becoming ever tainted with bias, but I'm sure I could scrounge up a few reliable links if I know your interests.:)

philosophy, spirituality, religion, energy techniques, dreaming techniques, psychadelic info, communities of the like, etc. what i'm searching for isn't limited to these categories, but i think you get the idea. nothing that costs money, or preaches hate. i would like this thread to turn into a list of very hip links, if ya know what i mean.

I don't mean to deviate from links, but Science, Philosophy and Religion: a Symposium is a must read.

avoid all (and i mean all) formation of opinions about this, and focus for 4 pages. if you make it, you'll see. (the sentences and opinions are meaningless-the effect of trying to organize the info after 4 pages is extraordinary) everyone, please don't post your opinons of the site here. there is another thread about it in this forum. go there to discuss.

(the sentences and opinions are meaningless-the effect of trying to organize the info after 4 pages is extraordinary) everyone, please don't post your opinons of the site here. there is another thread about it in this forum. go there to discuss.I think you may want to refer to the Forum Posting Guidelines (http://www.hipforums.com/forumguidelines.htm), particularly item #7 regarding Spamming.

In case you don't want to read the Forum Posting Guidelines, let me show you what it says:
Spamming: Those who come here and post numerous links to other commercial websites, forums, chatrooms or communities, without actually contributing any content to this website will be banned without notice. It's fine to post an occasional interesting link to another website, in the context of a thread's subject, but to only do that or to do it repeatedly is not allowed. If you have your own website, you can put the URL in your profile and a link will be posted to your site in every post you make so there is no reason to add it to your posts, signature or PMs.
So, before you go any further with this thread, you may want to consider if it conforms to the guidelines you agreed to when you joined the site.

The reason I post this is the statement "avoid all formation of opinions" is the same as saying "do not contribute any content" which is against the Forum Posting Guidelines.

i suppose we should have descriptions, and possibly short discussions of these sites to avoid breaking the rules here. the last thing i want to do is be booted after all this time. if any moderators still want me to stop, just let me know in a pm and i will.

I foun dit particularly useful in looking up sutras. The translations often leave soething to be desired though, but I can go back to the original pali texts and use the translations and dictionary to get a fuller understanding of the sutras.

.Sorry, StrawPuppy, YYYesIAm2, everyone, but I censored your post for a day or two till I can consult with the rest of the moderators on its content.

Depending on their resulting response I will offer an explaination ... one way or another ... and either let the censor stand or remove it ... again, depending on their response.

Please forgive this action, and please be patient with me while waiting ...

In the meantime, please use as referance the bottom half of your post in the quote above ...Okay, I've restored the post as was. I only had one response from another moderator and it was in favor to let it stand as is.

My reasoning: In the past there have been people from other forums coming here and intentionally redirecting the members of HipForums to their forum in an effort to build up their member-base, and depelete the membership of HipForums. As such, my first reaction to seeing links to other forums is to consider them suspicious first and ask questions later.

My apology: Please forgive any inconvenience this may have caused, and mostly any hardships this may have caused to your feelings.

No problem, certainly understandable, though with hiplanet being so popular, I wonder why you doubt ?

Why is hiplanet so popular? FREEDOM of speech, and long may it be so.

Glad your here, glad your open, glad your doing so well.

Thanks
