And in the end
it wasn't you,
but LOVE
that controlled my universe---

reflections of memories
shining of the puddle
of my mind
you're scent lingers there
in that place
in this place
your tapestry covering my veiw
and when i close my eyes
i still see you
lingering like your scent,
so unpleasantly beautiful
so emotionally unstable;

you are the pollution
in my air
and yet i still wonder
what could have been

-the girl sighs-

her mind is tired and sore
and bare

she is exposed.

I liked this... it's a light piece that has a longing to it that I find intriguing. good job and keep em coming! :sunglasse

Reminds me of a couple pieces I've written...
Can't say I'm blown away...the ending is a bit akward.
And I wish you would have elaborated on this stanza...
"you are the pollution
in my air
and yet i still wonder
what could have been"

Good ideas behind the poem...but it felt lacking.

ah, to lament decisions made does not unmake them. but sometimes the lament itself possesses its own revelatory flavor. indeed, every decision is but one thread in the vast tapestry of your life. who can imagine what pattern would have emerged with the choosing of a different collor thread at any given point?

your tapestry remains still just as lovely, regardless. don't sweat it.

much love :)
