New to this poetry thing decided to give it a try with this poem Didn't really have a good title for it... tell me what you think heh...
Practically useless, that’s what I am
Guess its time for me to take my stand
Modern day prophets churned into society
By a machine meant to make a variety.
Prodigies teaming, from little boys
I guess adults are just children without the toys.
These question you ask, they make no sense.
Speak out fast to kill the suspense.
Wake up in the morning to pop my pills
So I’ll be happy, and my life fulfilled.
Everyday everyone looks at me
Why are they staring, what could it be?
In my own dream world, I must wait
While my subconscious, seeks my fate.
Story in mind that I can’t explain
Tired of this, now to complain.
So happy I was before I woke up
Now that I’m back, I must shut up.
Relax, sit back, it will all work out
Sometimes, so excited, just want to shout.
Probable answers is all that I have
If you take them from me, I will be mad.
But sooner or later, I’ll get over it
Pop some more Prozac to change my tint.
From grey to blue, how happy am I
My life to me, is one big lie.
Smiling faces waste away
Into my silhouette, what a happy day.
Practically useless, that’s what I am
Guess its time for me to take my stand
Modern day prophets churned into society
