We dance.
Like ghosts caught on camera.
Fragile minds lead me astray.
Prance around headstones of white.
Some sad song in a forest of dreams.
A mystery caught in a music box, fills me with fear.
Strange noise in the attic, precious night light guide me to sleep.
Childlike fears return in our absence of innocense.
You don't sing me a lullebye, like you used to.
I feel like Alice never made it out of Wonderland,
and I'm still in the Queen's court.
Whirling, swirling music from a small musicbox, ballerina mechanics.
Are we childhood's nightmare?
a frightening image, a scream outside her window.
Treat us well, faithful fairytale, bring us sweet dreams and melodys of yellow.
Bring us childhood nightmares, in a music box song.

That was beautiful :) I really love your style, and how the periods at the end of each sentence give it a sense of finality and firmness. The mood is sort of eerie, yet serene. I loved it!

Wow, Haley ...

You have grown soo much artistically since I first met you here on the forums. That is quite possibly one of the best poems I have read on here in a while. Congratulations! :D

Keep up the good work.
