i rarely get mad and i dont get angry
i cant get upset cause yo that just aint me
i got a way to deal with shit when times get tough

yeah i like that too but it doesnt solve anything
i'll throw on my stereo play me some al green
open up a notebook and brush away the haters
get myself a fresh pen then put it to some paper
lettin my soul escape through this black or blue ink
Al in the background and in my hand and a stiff drink
cause my mind goes its own way never one to regulate
so everyday its mandatory just to chill and meditate
conversing with myself me VS my conscious
differentiating the positive from the nonsense
cause time by yourself is time to reflect
