I was rollin' a joint
Really fat and sweet
When I dropped my bag
Down between my feet.
I got down on my knees
To reach under the chair
You will never believe
What I found under there.
There was a little man
His head shining & bare
Said he'd lived twenty years
Stoned under my chair.
He had saved everything
That fell between my feet
And that sticky green bud
Man, that stuff was sweet.
That special time of year
When Christmas finally comes
And I see all my friends
Who drop those tasty crumbs.
While he's still waiting
For the next bud to fall
He starts humming the words
Merry Christmas to all.
