Well, Christmas--I mean Xmas--would really suck.

Has anyone else noticed that the new Dell guy (you never see him, you just hear his voice) is the same guy who does the voice of Fry on Futurama? Next time a Dell ad comes on, pay close attention to the guys' voice.

Hehe.. I only hope the future would be like Futurama. Its one of my favourite shows of all time!

I am not familiar with the voice of Dell .. although, has anyone noticed that the guy from 'Blossom' appears in many Dell commercials. (dont know his name but he played the older brother)

Well, these voice-over guys can do so many cartoons and voices it amazing.
Phil Hartman had done so many, you would almost think it was only him working at some points.
(yet you didnt know because he could change his voice to be any character)

Anyway, I think a Smell-o-tron would be awesome. Or was it a 'Smellinator'?

I love Professor Farnsworth's inventions. They're all so imaginatively stupid.
I like how they have all the twentieth century celebrity and politician heads in jars and they feed them fish food flakes.

Futurama is one of those shows I appreciate the more I watch it.

Three episodes I love the most:

The parody of Willy Wonka, with Slurm McKenzie.
When the Umpalumpas are pointed out to the Professor he replies "Tell them I hate them"

The Star-Trek episode was simply brilliant. They even had the original cast of Star Trek voice over their own characters... except ill-fated 'Welshy' lol!

There was another one where Fry had to defend Earth using Weaponery based on 1980's Video games.. lol... including a Space Invaders tank.

Ok.. bonus points if you can remember the name of the Professors 'What if' machine?
(Or was that its actual name?)

Its tragic that Hartman was murdered like that and while still relatively young and at the peak of his career.
I often think of how sad it was that Chris Farley had to go so early too.

Farley though... everyone said he had it coming as he basically was drugging and partying himself to death.
Hartman... well he just married the wrong person (though they say she tripped out on pharmeceutical drugs and lost control of her own mind)

Does anyone else agree we should start building our cities like the ones in Futurama?
I do.. we should start soon though, so I can retire in one like that.

i love it on the episode with the water people, and fry's walking through the desert. he's all talking to the sun like, "go dooown!" and it finally sets. and then, an even bigger sun, with a smaller sun orbiting it, rises. haha, i laughed my ass off at that.

This thread should prolly go in TV or start talking about possible futures..... But I perfer Futurama to the Simpsons. I've noticed more drug references in Futurama then the Simpsons has (as of late) and do so enjoy them, because I am a druggie of course :p
