I'm never trying Oxycontin but an acquantance of mine wanted to sell me some of both but said Oxycodine is different and it's a downer.

Is it anywhere near Vicodins or is it more intense?

Oxycontin is oxycodone so is Percodan and Percocet except in those cases with aspirin/acetaminophen. and under a whole host of other names in varying dosages/preparations.

I've never heard of oxycodine and don't think it exists. Could be wrong.
I think it may be just people confusing the words -codone and codeine. Dihydrocodeine however does exist.

Vicodins are hydrocodone

Yes, OxyContin is Oxycodone with a time release. MsContin is morphine with time relase (I just took to 60mgs myself ;) ) Oxycodine does not exist, cracker531 must have heard an informed aquiatance of his mispeak the name of a percocet, and thus thought possibly there was a difference. :) Obviously lol
