Take them and see what happens. They will probably still fuck you up, but it will definitely take a lot more than it would if they were fresh. Start with about 6mg and work up.

Benzos are pretty stable kept cool and out of light . I think the 'official' shelf life is something like 3 years. But anecdotal evidence says Alprazolam remains potent after about 10 years...

An Eeso, I have taken alprazolam when it was a couple of years old and had to take 9mg before I felt ANYTHING. Freshness varies with xanax big time, depending on how they are stored. It may still help with the anxiety after a long time, but the intoxicaton effects definitely degrade quite a bit. Apparently, his are still pretty fresh, so I guess they were stored in a good temperature, which obviously makes a difference.

Yea that's why I mentioned 3 years. But the storage environment and any number of things can affect the degradation of chems like you said.
So yea - 3 years a good bet - anecdotally up to 10

Hence why anecdotal evidence isn't really all that reliable and plays such a large part in logical fallacy - but when that's all ya got, that's all ya got...

I think you guys are right about the freshness thing first time user took about ten(really old) and felt good but not like I was hoping one funny thing was this morning I could hardley stand up in the shower and walking funny for about an hour at work whats up with that.
