How many times have you tripped on LSD and/or Mushrooms?
You can count mescaline too, i've never done it but it seems it would fit.

DXM and other crap like that doesnt count as a trip. Only the above mentioned.

If you have any persisting after-effects please tell us about them.

about 60 if you count the weak stuff and the intentionally mild doses. half that many if only full-fledged tripping counts.

What is it about acid that inspires people to count their trips? You always hear people tell you how many trips they have, yesterday somebody told me she's tripped "800 times". Users of other drugs don't count how many times they've used, and unless it's a small number they have no idea.

i really wouldnt be able to say ... cuz theres been many times where we`d just start out with 1 hit and we`d keep poppin more n more ... the longest trip ive had was about 50 sumthin hrs ... @ which point i believe i just passed out ... i never cam off ... believe i woke up still fucked up ... ive taken alotta hits but probly tripped out 50? maybe times ... around there sumwhere .. i really dont even know

Roomate in college asked me to hold a sheet of blotter while he went away for a month, me and a few friends ate the sheet within 3 weeks...had a blast, every night I was trippin balls and I'd be like, "Yo, we have to pay for this sh*t!", so everyone would fork up change or a couple ones that I'd put in a jar. When he came back he couldn't believe it...all of it was payed for in nickels, dimes, quarters, ones and maybe 3 or 4 fives. Great times.

anyway...I posted on this shit in March. It's now December, ive tripped around 15 times on LSD and once on mushrooms (mixed with LSD) since then. My hppd has increased exponentially. In March i said i didnt mind the HPPD...i take that back and caution everyone to use psychedelics with prudence. HPPD sucks. For a while its cool if it stays under a certain point. After a while it graduates from shifting colors and patterns to more shifting colors and patterns with a constant mind fuck. Sometimes when i get high i can hear my thoughts verbally spoken in my head, but they are my own thoughts so i dont consider that skitzophrenia. Not to mention intense social anxiety and many other horrible and annoying effects. When im stressed its the worse, also cocaine and mdma worsen it substantially. I havent done acid since october and in all honesty im not the same from it...it was the hardest ive ever tripped...and ive tripped alot.

LSD/mushrooms/mesc. might not cause direct neurotoxicty, but trust me it can still
produce other nasty lingering side effects. Enlightenment is a one way street, a pandora's box if you will. Seeing the bigger picture all the time isnt always the best, i wish i could switch it on and off. I know too much...i need to dumb myself back down a bit somehow.

well considering i've only started tripping this year, and i'm only 16, as well as having limited access to these drugs, i think tripping 7 times is a reasonable amount. i've done lsd twice, mushrooms 3 times, and lsa twice. belive it or not, i had the craziest visual distortions on 4g of mushrooms. the most mind-expanding trip was the lsa, where i had very strange thoughts about everything in general, and i took it at a carnival where the carnies were scaring the shit outta me. the lsd was weird for me, since i'd be getting weird visual distortions, but i thought they were all real, so i think it fucked with my mind the most. i know lsa isn't listed up there, but i really think it should be since it's pretty close to my experience with other psychedelics. it's not as crazy as lsd or mushrooms, but the thoughts you get can be just as strange.

^ye that's basically the reason. people count special things in their lives, like the amount of trips they've been on. it could go into the 100s and some people still keep track. yet you don't count all the times you've been to the grocery store or a friends house, simply because those are things that everyone does in everyday situations.

I stopped long time ago but am getting back on the saddle again as I have just been thinking about old times and have been through alot the past few years and think I could benefit mentally and spiritually from their use again.

As far as how much, I stopped counting but I think I TRULY GOOD ESTIMATE would be about 200 - 300 for me. The most acid ever consumed in one day by be was approx. 10000 - 15000 MCG. Again I lost count after the first 10 strip that day.

Persisting effects. OF COURSE! I have that perceptual disorder cant remember the name of it, but I have learned to live with it and really quite enjoy it sometimes. Other than that just some profound lifestyle and spiritual changes that has made me a better more self-opinated person. I would not go back and change anything.

many years ago i had a freind who was actualy there for my 1st trip ever, well this girls dad was a chemist, and a bit of a sadist too i guess well he would create all sorts of chems hed test on her and her mom, from the age of 5 her and her mom would be locked in a closet tripping on who knows what
this girl definately had alot of issues from this, but her mom was far far worse, she probly was in her late 40's, but often acted like a 3 year old
i cant imagine what your situation might have been or how you ended up tripping at 4..thats just crazy...and how has that affected you tripping so young?

if you are asking about lsd and shrooms only i would say around 10 times with acid and maybe 15 with shrooms...which is not a lot, but after those trips i always need at least \3-4 months to accumulate a craving for a psychedelic again. those trips always leave me with so much to think about and digest...
