"Enjoy every sandwich:the songs of warren zevon"- (title taken from a remark made by Zevon in his final public appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman)- has been coordinated and produced by Warren's son Jordan and long time collaborator Jorge Calderon. The line up so far includes-
Adam Sandler (yes, adam sandler)- "Werewolves of London"
Don Henley- Searching for a Heart
The Pixies- Ain't that pretty at all
Jordan Zevon and Jakob Dylan- Studebaker
Billy Bob Thornton- The Wind
Pete Yorn- Splendid Isolation
Bob Dylan- Mutineer
Bruce Springsteen- My ride's here
Ry Cooder and David Lindley- Monkey wash\Donkey rinse
Jackson Browne- Poor, poor, pitiful me
Studebaker and The Wind are songs Zevon wrote during his illness but was unable to record. The album is due to be released in late October in America, so probably next year in the UK.
