A shadow emerges out of the back of an ambulance parked outside the A and E of Lewisham Hospital. A figure who resembles a tired looking man with no money and no family.
Miserable looking face and intentions to set himself free from his misery. Inside his heart, he just wants it all to end, but now it has come to this crescendo. No running, time to make a demon out of his shadow.
Inside his pocket he has a weapon that he wishes he had left at home. Too late now as he can hear the wind blowing to and fro. The man walks into the A and E and asks for a glass of water. The nurse looks surprised but goes to a tap and pours the man a glass of water. Meanwhile, the reception tv is currently showing the Hoobs and people are sitting looking at this programme with euphoria in their eyes. Lots of Peter Pans, why the man totally understands. The man takes his glass of water and drinks it all down in one. Suddenly a child emerges and approaches the man. This is a girl who has dark black hair and has a dolly,dangling from her left hand. The man looks down and kneels down to look at this child and he asks why she looks so happy. The girl runs back outside to where her dad is and tells her dad of the man and the dad comes along and approaches the man. Instead of getting angry, the man presents his hand and offers to shake the frail mans hand. The man shakes the dads hand but then the Demon emerges within the frail old man and he gets out his knife and begins chanting the demons inside of him.
In the next few minutes, the lights flicker on and off and the child and the man dissappear into thin air. Leaving a scent of decay and despair.
