hipforums.com doesn't lead anywhere!

i wonder if some former members have lost their way, because this threw me off when i clicked my old link (http://hipforums.com), and nothing but a blank page loaded.

as the new url is http://hipforums.com/forums shouldn't there at least be a link to guide lost souls to our new home?? and the longer it's left this way, the less likely those folks are to keep trying. (i'm especially concerned as there was a growing number of ottawans, and now there seem to be only 2 of us!)

or are we trying to reduce the population? ;)

Doesn't it kind of go there by itself after you put in the hipforums.com thing? Mine does.

ok, so i try it again and the old url hops directly to the new forums... i don't know if it's me, my browser, or the forums playing tricks! but i can't be the only one who had this problem!

haha! hey... canada is a wired country... and i'm not 100% canadian... i'm a brit by birth, so i must be cool!

anyway, try just typing hipforums.com into your browser and see what happens.

must be something to do with browser caching... i can only guess that missing members have run into this problem and assume the forums no longer exists.

is there any way to get a message out to lost members that we are still here? a temporary splash page that redirects, perhaps?

it didn't say anything... the browser made the motion of loading a page, then said it was "done" with nothing but a blank page.

now it loads the forums. lol!

You may have been having a domain name system issue with your internet provider. Generally the http://www.hipforums.com link works the best.
