xanax problem...

The first time I did it I took 4mg. Swallowed the pills. Its xanax XR by the way. It made me soo fucked up I could barely walk. Now I took the same amout like 3 days later and nothing happened.... Wtf I want to have fun off this. I took 4mg in the morning and felt nothing. I want to get fucked up now so should I snort the .5 mg XRs or what? HELP ME PLEASE.

I have no clue man. I have never eaten the XR. I know some XR pills don't work at all when you snort them, but I don't know if the xanax will work or not. There's only one way to find out.

And if you're not getting fucked up enough off the dose, don't snort them, xanax loses alot of potency when snorted.

If your not feeling ANYTHING off of that much xanax, I wouldn't think snorting them, chewing them, or parachuting them will help at all. Lay off for a while. My tolerance builds very quickly with the bricks.

4mg xanax should hit anyone without a high tolerance like a ton of bricks, and 3 times in a week is nowhere near enough to give you major tolerance. XR of course stands for extended release so chewing them may help some. Never tried snorting zannies, dunno whether it would work or not.

I used t have a problem and took 4mg a day at least and 40 mg or so of valium and ativan on top of it. I can say that those were the funnest days of my life. I had no inhibition what so ever and felt on top of the world. I am glad I kicked it though and think you should do the same before it becomes to hard.

I dont know if it has been said, but just take 1 or 2 mg and drink 6+ beers. I quarantee you will be so shit faced you will not remember the next day. Do not drive and be with someone sober b/c you WILL regret it. You WILL do crazy shit guaranteed, so I repeat, have someone sober or you WILL regret it. XR is extended release??? thats his problem then man. extended release drugs are really that because of the pill its in.. theyre extended release because the molecule is cased in another molecule that dissolves slower in your stomach, releasing some of the drug as it disolves... chewing it wont help....November 21st, 2006 10:13 PM



This is not true. Chewing up the XRs cause the onset of Xanax to come very quickly, at least by mine and many others' experiences. Though it is quite a disgusting taste, I'll agree to that. The XRs are wrapped in some type of thick gelatin casing that breaks after some hefty chewing. The XRs can't be snorted.

By the way, don't bother snorting regular non-XR tablets as benzodiazepams (such as Xanax and Valium) are not water soluble, therefor will not be absorbed through your mucus membranes in the nasal passages like other drugs such as coke or speed. Snorting them just hurts your nose and wastes an hour of your life with non-stop nasal drips as the crushed up pill drips down your throat into your stomach where it is eventually metabolized, not in the nose.

Plus, snorting pills of any kind is not a good idea as most pills contain fillers in them such as chalk that will get caught in the respiratory system and damage the lungs.

And yeah, many people develop a tolerance to Xanax rather quickly, especially when taking large doses, then repeating the next day or so.

theres no point in railing xanax even if it's xr bcuz theres too many fillers in the bars... u only get lyk 33% of the drug... swallowing xr lasts for 18 hrs (hence extended release)... crush em and swallow them... and take breaks... i'v been on the shyt for yrs now... 2 mg a day... i used to take up to 20 mg a day u need breaks or it doesn't do shyt and loose ur memory completely!
