paranoid in what sense? i'm schizo, but i'm not paranoid like scared of stuff unless i'm having an episode... i worry about the effect i have on people a lot, but i consider that normal...

when i smoke i wouldn't say i get "paranoid", but i get uncomfortable unless i'm around people who are bonified stoners and aren't gonna make me feel like a doofhead.

i don't know. i don't understand what paranoia means i guess...

i think im too permafried to be paranoid....i dont give a shit about anything really i get nervous sometimes and selfconcious but i wouldnt call it paranoia

i used to get paranoia attacks after some bad coke experiences but im fine now and i use drugs more then ever :)

Paranoia can be anything from suspecting a girlfriend/boyfriend is cheeting on you (without evidence) to running around downtown screaming that aliens are stealing your thoughts.

Being paranoid doesn't necessarily mean you're schizophrenic - it could just mean you've got a wild imagination or have trouble trusting people.

I know that when I get EXTREMELY stoned, I get paranoid that demons are peering into my soul and are reprogramming my mind. It used to be debilitating (I had serious issues a while back), but now I recognize them for what they are - a bunch of fooy going on in my head. I can usually just scoff at it saying "You know that's just yourself coming up with all this stuff, don't you... yeah, I do." I also gage how much pot I smoke. I'll just add a little to my pipe, smoke it, feel it out for about five minutes (it should be at least five minutes), and if I feel it's a rather weak high, I'll smoke a little bit more. I can usually find my "comfort zone" doing it that way.

i get paranoid sometimes but its not debilitating and at worse it makes me take precautions or check to see if my paranoia is rational or not.

i used o get paranoid when stoned but not so much anymore, i supress my anxiety

I'm a bit of a hypochondriac, and it is greatly potentiated by the drugs I use. Since I started using drugs, I have been very paranoid about my heart, lungs, and brain. It used to be pretty debilitating, but now I just accept it as part of my everyday life and go with the flow. If something is wrong, fuck it.....I just don't worry about it anymore, as I have accepted the fact that I will probably die by the time I am 30 years old and just live life as well as I can as long as I can.

I am not really paranoid when it comes to my surroundings, though.

Yeah weed makes me paranoid as all hell. Mostly due to the fact that I have to be outside around some sort of parent (inside the house sleeping) or in someone's car or somewhere sucktastic, and the fact that it's illegal.

Damn laws.

I don't think any other drug makes me paranoid at all.

Someone somewhere on this forum suggested that if ever pot was made legal, tons of paranoia would go down... makes sense to me.

I work as a hands on healer and encourage people to release all feelings, positive and negative. Males arent quite so adept at this...:(

In the long term repressed emotions, sadly manifest in illnesses...

Let those feelings out guys....very important...

Some good ways to release.....music...thrashing the guitar, bashing a drum. Dancing...really letting the body go totally. Beating a punchbag and shouting at the same time, running around the garden screaming lol....sounds crazy...sex, and even hugging is healthy (they say to have 12 hugs a day supports the immune system)

If you smoke a lot, be aware that this could ultimatley surpress emotions..so take a break and become very much ALIVE......sing loudly, be different to when ye are stoned......be ANIMATED....be vocal ...

And talking too...with a friend or a good relative or counsellor can really help.

I'm a very paranoid person, but I've tried drugs before. I'm always paranoid up until it starts to kick in. Drugs often calm me down and make me forget about the stresses and paranoia.

I'm not really that paranoid at all, I have quite a no worry attitude on the moment, although it has been different, I had a serious phobia of contageous illnesses, no matter what they were.. but then one great mushroom trip a bit over a year ago made that vanish from the one day to the other. So.. I miss the option: drugs stopped my paranoia. I'm never paranoid on drugs and have never been.

I am generally paranoid, and drugs enhance that feeling. I sometimes feel everyone around me is judging me when I smoke weed, when really they are not. Weed and coke are the only drug's that ever made it worse, opiates and alcohol always helped me to be more out-going and less worried person.

When you get paranoid on coke, is it fear-based or aggression-based? I know that when I get stoned on pot and start getting paranoid, it's usually driven by fear (like fear that someone's out to hurt me somehow). But what I've noticed about coke-heads (I've never done coke myself) is that they tend to get more aggressive. Does this aggression sometimes lead to paranoia (like accusing people of things they aren't doing/thinking)?

For me it was mostly fear of getting caught, I was driving with some friends after doing about a half a gram and was always looking back at the car behind us to see if it was a cop, my friend would tell me not to worry and I'd just get angry that he wasn't as careful -minded as me, but now I see that was just idiotic. I've only tried it twice, and never gotten actual rage.

I am not a paranoid person but if I just got done sniffing a line of coke and have 8 ball down my pants and there is a cop in the next car behind me then I become a paranoid person. most Stimulant drugs like coke and Meth will make your ass paranoid if you binge on them or get real addicted to them some just get alot worse then others. There is a huge difference when someone on coke gets worried there parents might know or there chick will find out out but still enjoys the high then the person on high on coke who thinks every person is a under cover cop and there is tiny camera in every room taping him. Man I have seen some people who are fucked up from long term and Heavy abuse of Coke and Crack and are paranoid for life. It is terrable to get high with people like that an can also be dangerous.
