View Full Version : Karma's eh?
Hey, I think i'm doing this right but if not stop me so I don't embarass myself lol!
So were to begin? I'm Chris, i'm 18 and I work in Internet Marketing. I hate it and it's not as fancy as it sounds but the moneys not bad. I love music. I'm not really into one particular type of music, I just listen to whatever I like the sound of although I do like certain types of music for different circumstances!
I like to look good but not in a vein way (well maybe a little vein) I just like to have nice clothes that are clean and tidy etc. I just got a new tattoo on my arm, it looks good but it needs touching up a bit (I couldn't help picking at it!)
If money wasn't an issue and I could do anything, I think I would collect and modify cars. Ever since I can remember I have had a passion for them. I've been able to drive since I was like 13 but I havn't yet taken my test due to lack of time and money.
Assuming that I will never become rich and famous, I think I'd one day like to own a pub or nightclub. I don't know why I just think it would be really cool!
I was raised as a catholic because my mum's side of the family is catholic but I am an atheist. My dad is also an atheist so that may have something to do with it?
I'm sort of running out of things to say at the moment so i'll post again when I can think of some more and i'll try and sort out a picture!!!

Hello Cuey!:)
"Internet marketing" - does that mean it's you who keeps sending me all this spam?:tongue:
How do you get around?
What's the worst injury you've ever had?
What's your tipple of choice?
Hi lithium thanks for posting!
1, Internet Marketing? Well it's not really black and white! The short answer is yes, long answer no! You see it's people like me who send some manner of spam mail to ordinary people but it's not the crappy kind with a virus or child porn or a viagra ad attached. You will only get it of someone like me if you have sighed up for it or something you have sighed up for has sold your email. (theres alot of that going on!) The main job I have is designing and maintaining websites. I write the code and design the graphics etc. I work on ecommerce sites though so I make sites with shops on them. I would love to tell you which companies I do alot of work for but my contract doesn't allow me!
2, How do I get around? I walk everywhere or catch a bus! Hopefully though I should be taking my driving test soon though so I should be able to drive!
3, The worst injury I have ever had was at the beggining of this year. I fractured my skull and the base of my neck. The fracture on my skull caused a blood clot on my brain. Me being pig headed and extreamly stupid, I discharged myself from hospital after 5 days! Luckily I completly healed and after 3 months the blood clot had gone! The pain was at times unbarable but its just one of those things! Lifes a bitch lol!
4, My tipple of choice (and I think that means drink?) is larger or whiskey! I do like other drinks but if I could only have one drink, for me nothing beats a nice cool pint!
Thanks for the questions lithium!

With your love of music, do you play any instrument? Or would you like to and if so what?
I play keyboard, guitar and drums but none of them competently! I just dabble in them! I am completly self taught which is probably why i'm not that good lol. If I could could play just one of them but well I would pick drums because I love drums and if was in a band would want to be the drummer! Thanks for the question!

Are you a political person?
Yes and no! I don't vote or really support one political party but I do have an opinion on alot of the issues raised. I am very pationate about getting cannabis legalised and I am confident that within the next 10 years or so it will be.

What do you think is the biggest problem facing the world at the moment?
Global warming. The worlds governmets and large corporations are not doing enough to fund and research alternative fuel sources and the effects of global warming are already becoming visable. Now on one hand I really couldn't care less what happens because i'll most likely be dead before any major changes in the climate happen, but on the other hand what if I have kids? Do I really want to leave them in a broken world? The only readily available source of power is nuclear but with the impending crisis in North Korea and with terrorism still alive and deadly, it is very unlikely that any government is going to make the bold move of switching to nuclear power. It is good to see adverts on TV from companies like B&Q selling products that promote alternative ways to power your home. Hopefully governments will start taking this problem seriously!

That's pretty scary. What's the scariest thing that's happened to you besides that?
To be honest i've been pretty lucky and other than my head injury i've never really had to go though anything that scary!
