Watched this last night; it's crazy and pretty impressive. Perhaps Scorsese's best? I would like to see the Asian thriller it's based on. *Lots* of visual references to The Third Man, one of my favourite films, and it also echoes that film's moral ambiguity.

Highly recommended!

No way Scorcese's best. Have you not seen Taxi Driver; Goodfella's; Casino?

I caught it at the pictures a few weeks back. Loved every minute, except it was on the Sunday of my birthday weekend so I did nod off for a bit! Just 15 mins or so, quite near the start. But aye, can't wait to see it again.

I actually caught a bit of 'Infernal Affairs' the other night, my housemates were watching it. Seemed pretty darn good. But certainly one to see from the start.

I wouldn't say it was Scorsese's best work, but then, he'd have to do something 100% spot on for anything to topple 'Goodfellas' (In my opinion). That's just genius.

I do love the other Scorsese films mentioned, particularly Taxi Driver, and I think this film compares favourably with them. Something about the way this film uses so much visual symbolism and references loads of other films really appealed to the film buff in me:) I also can't wait to see it again, to see if my first impressions were right...
