look as from yesterday. www.freeview.co.uk (http://www.freeview.co.uk)

Stations that have appeared since Five Life and US are Heart Radio and Radio Music Shop. Channels 728 and 729. I wonder what the future of Freeview will be and is this new campaign (Free tv land) going to make Freeview sales reach a new world record and ultimately beat major satelite and cable services?

Debate what your favourite channels are and why and what you think of the above information.

Digital tevelivision was supposed to be the great liberator of consumer choice, leading Britain forward in a technological revolution. Anyone remember all those adverts plugging it when it was just starting up? But the government inititially failed in their objectives due to the near total monopoly gained by Rupert Murdoch's Sky. They asked ITV to intervene, but ITV's digital service was a dismal failure. Finally the BBC stepped in the Freeview, which has proved to be incredibly popular, and has provided some decent competition. I'm very much in favour of Freeview, and public service broadcasting in general. Go the BBC....

Parliament goes Full screen tomorrow. The website new look is much fresher. I think it needs refreshing every quarter.
