Yeah, i'm an Eastenders man personally, but it's a sad state of affairs that a bloody soap is the best thing on to watch. Not including the Planet Earth repeats of course. Anything with Attenborough is essential viewing.

I've been immensely enjoying Lead Balloon on BBC4 which has just finished, along with The Late Edition with Marcus Brigstocke also on BBC4 - live topical satire which is a bit hit and miss to be honest, but it sometimes hits the spot. There's no such thing as live comedy on TV anymore so this is a breath of fresh air sometimes. This week's commentary on the US elections and Rumsfeld's resignation was classic TV.

But er ... that's it. My TV's barely been on.

Yeah, I watch Eastenders most nights, but the plots and characters are really crap at the moment. The only decent one is Phil Daniels for the comedy value, but even he's not on top form.

Lost is probably the best thing on TV at the moment I think....

Filmfour. Now channel four has ditched Quizcall channel number 32 for Filmfour plus one. Finally someone saw the light. I watched Dr Cyclops today on channel 32. This now means that one has two movie channels on freeview. This is excellent. So really I am tuning into Filmfour alot more now. Once you sit down and watch, you get really into it. I hope they have some good stuff on at christmas.

" For some freeviewers, a rescan may be needed. For more advice just pull my tail:)

Oh, and i've decided i like Torchwood quite a bit, even if the fairies episode was a bit naff. It's just over-the-top fun, the way it should be. Pterodactyl vs Cyberwoman?? Who can complain about that..??! :)

That Captain Jack definately needs to get both his eyes pointing in the right direction though, bless.

Never Mind the Buzzcocks with Simon Amstell ... liked Mark Lamarr but got a bit bored with him, Amstell has reinvigorated the show, always worth watching for his scathingly personal rudeness towards his guests!

Next week, he makes Preston off Big Brother storm off the show!:D

I can't say I watch much tele nowadays. Films of course, but that's a bit differant. But last week I proclaimed BBC2 as TV Champions at the minute, their Sunday night is pretty sweet!

You've got...Natural World (With music by Brian Eno if I'm not mistaken), Meerkat Manor (With Bill Nighy), Top Gear, Ray Mears (Legend!), Match of the Day 2 and even some Family Guy!

Top that ;)

I think Transmission is a real gem of a music show, on Friday nights late on Channel 4. Lauren Laverne and that bloke off T4 with the face are actually great presenters, their links are sometimes hilarious. The bands they have on are a bit hit and miss as you'd expect but often there'll be someone worth watching or you might see the first TV performance of a fairly new band. Good stuff!http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/icons/newicons/icon14.gif

There's nothing really on nowadays that I want to tune into, apart from the odd documentary (tonight I watched the story of the Tsar assasination and the legend of Anastasia).
Bring back Skins and Shameless and SPACED!

BBC1 Eastenders and Castaway.

Drawn together is the best programme at the moment. it may be from 2004 but it is still hilarious.

Peep show, yip.
Not much good stuf on at the mo. Derren Browns new show starts soon (maybe tonight?) I liked 'dont watch that watch this' and occassionally watch 'its not easy being green'. Louis Theroux's new programmes should be good too.

TV is rubbish these days (apart from David Mitchell - love that man, he gave me a kiss!!!!) But it's about to get really really good. Well for one night only!

You got a kiss off Sir Mitchell? *jealousy*

Waking the Dead just finished I think, that's always good on the non-comedic side.

Oh I did, he is so charming it was hard not to jump him:tongue:

Never watched waking the dead, I think This Morning and Paul O'Grady are always great oh and To buy or not to buy - but it must be with Kristian and Dominic!
