NO, all anti-depresents arent the same. i cant remember the different types but some are SSRI's (Seritonin Selective Re-uptake Inhibitor) and MAOI's...

NO, Welbutrin is a Quadracylic antidepressant, it does a hell of a lot more than "help you quite cigarrettes."

I HOPE you didn't take more than recommended, because the main serious side effect of this drug is a lowering of your Seizure Threshold. It can cause seizures even in people who have never had them before, from only a little more than is recommended for depression.

DO NOT take this as a Recreational. There are no recreational effects from this drug, and you may end up frying your brain in a Status Epilepticus. (A seizure which doesn't stop on it's own and can cause neuronal pathways to electrially and chemically become destroyed.) PLEASE don't take this for anything other than it was recommended and don't take more than your doctor said to.

AA is right about one thing. There are at least 4 different types of antidx as well as other dugs that can be used for depression. (From some sorts of antiseizure drugs to Lith.) They are not all the same and NONE of them can get you high.

Don't use them without a doctor's recommendation. They can have side effects (everything from seizures, to mania to inability to have an orgasm) if not taken properly.

Wellbutrin is actually an aminoketone antidepressant.

And Maggie is RIGHT ON about the side effects of overdose or abuse.

Don't mess with this drug.

It's an excellent drug, but not recreational at all.

On Erowids, some people have tried it and hated it. I take 450mg every morning(like the doctor said). I KNOW that it helps you quit smoking, especially at my dose, which I think is pretty big(doc said so). I crushed up a Wellbutrin XL pill and then taste a tiny bit on the tip of my tongue. My tongue went numb for 2 hours. I would never ever use Wellbutrin to get fucked up.
(My thoughts on it: I think I'm better off when I don't take it. I feel more cheery and more talkative, since I'm a pretty quiet kid. I think it does exactly the opposite of what it should be doing.)

but maggie is wrong about none of them being able to get you high.. i know for a fact that xanax is used for that commonly, and i think there are others..Xanax is a benzo. That's a whole different story. And No Xanax is not used commonly for that. I've been on so many diffent depression meds since I was really young and I've never had Xanax. Besides, isn't used mostly for panick attacks other shit? I've never heard of anyone deing diagnosed with depression and getting Xanax.

(buproprion hydrochloride extended-release tablets)

Can I get anything off these if snorted or parachute method?

I heard all anti-depressants are the same, but then I heard opposite, just trying to clear it up and see if these are worth playing with.

Erowid has lots of postings about how one 150 mg pill up the nose can get you a bit elevated. It does mimic amphetamines doesnt it? At least wikipedia says something about how they are like amphetamines... Yeah may try one tomorrow. I have a perscription but havnt taken one in a few months.. One pill that is perscribed to me for depression (which i dont have) shouldnt hurt right? My doctor is a liar she said it was for add.

I figured i post a new reply for this. I railed like 75% of 150mg Wellbutrin XL. It is a fairly large amount of pain that stays with you a while especially if you have a cold. All that for a few hours of what could have been placebo effect, brighter colors, tracers, and intense anger at EVERYTHING in my case. In my oppinion it wasnt worth it.
