I used to live not too far from this place, I even when to the first Halloween party they threw. I have moved since then, but if you check the site, I believe they still hold Halloween parties, with celebrities.

.Yea, exactly. That's why I don't watch the modern sitcoms. And there really was a lot of work put into the 60's comedy shows to make them really, seriously funny, while at the same time giving a real good message about being good to other people and respecting them. Modern prime-time 'comedy' is mainly just an exercise in sarcasm. You can keep it.

I loved the Munster's house and the Addam's Family's, too. Real classics! Those were the kinds of places I really wish I could have lived when I was growing up. :sunglasse

Actually it was in L.A. located on Adams street (Ironicly). The house was demolished some time ago and actually didn't have the tower like the Victorian Italinate one that was used on the TV show. The exterior shot of the real house (that was demolished) was added on when they made the paint matte for the look of the house and yard. From what I read the original painting used for the exterior shot of the Addams house has deteriated over time.

There was a time when the Grand Central Station was going to be demolished. Only the people saved it.

I wonder what they would do to Uncle Fester and Cousin It. Someone should do a comedy sketch about the Addams Family in modern-day post-911 America. :)
