I am really psyched because I'm off to spend a couple weeks in Cape Cod with my family (I know, I just got back, big traveling summer). I love the Cape. Everything about it is so artsy, wild, natural, and relaxed.
Provincetown...also known as gay mecca...is half an hour from the cottage we stay in while our friends, the owners, are in Maine. I've been staying there with my aunt since I was little, but began to uncover its real value a year or two ago when I started to come out.
Who's been there? What did you think of it?
I lived on the Cape for six months on two seperate occasions - always had a blast hanging out in P-town. (yes, you can be hetero and enjoy it too, unlike what some peopel think)
Sunset in P-town is a real trip. The town completely transforms from a family oriented touristy shopping zoo into a big ole' party. The drag shows were always super fun.
Lucky you - I miss the cape.

i just came back from the cape and i took a day trip to P-town...it was really great...excellent shopping and great people watching...lots of hot girls...the only problem for me was that i was with my mom and my little brother...so it was a little awkward.

Yes, for some reason the girls seem exceptionally hot there. I think it has to do with the immense variety and diversity...the confidence...plus women tend to be more "earthy" on the Cape.
I'm psyched.

It's at the very tip of Cape Cod, which is a peninsula off the coast of Massachusetts.
