If you say the word enough times it loses all meaning.....

I do that with lots of words... I'll say them or write them down, and then all of a sudden I'm like, WTF? Corner? What the hell is corner? Yesterday I just sat around saying "Canada" for like ten minutes, because I saw it written down somewhere and realized how weird it sounded.
I'm retarded, by the way.

I do this all the time too. Like "kettle" or "rumble". It's the marijuana it is. Does anyone ever forget how to spell an easy word, like then or write? I'll completely forget how to spell something like that, or I'll read it and not figure out what it means. It's fucked up.

I do that with words alot. The easiest words to do it with I think are words like "the" and "At".

its kind of like saying aluminum, you start messing around with it and start saying stuff like alunimum and then you forget how you really say it and your screwed.

i do that all the time! ill sit around bored, think of a word, then contemplate its meaning how why its called that. i always do that. i also sometimes question my exsistence and why i got stuck with my parents. its like im in a different world while doing this nd im not myself at all. and im not high while doing it either.

All words are metaphors. They are not the things they point to.
I think fork loses meaning pretty fast.

you should try it with peoples names that can get trippy like after a while you just turn around and say to them "dude, you have the weirdest name I've ever heard."

I was taking an essay test in school and I had to use the word 'media' alot. After I wrote it for the first time, I didn't know if I had spelled it correctly. (I did) Every time I wrote it this way, I'd stare at the word for a while and try to figure out if it was right. It gave me such a headache. :D By the time I was done taking the test I was convinced that media wasn't even a real word.

It's really interesting how that happens. I used to say certain words over and over until I forgot how you really say them. Why does it happen like that? It's kinda like you brainwash yourself. Interesting...
