Belladonna

What is the best begining dose for Belladonna tea. I heard 1 gram is not much, I have also heard that two leaves can make you trip pretty hard. Has anyone experianced this?

umm i've never messed withit but i've heard a very small amout can be extremely overpowering
also herbal potency can vary widely
personaly i wouldnt mess withbelodonna, but if u feel u must, start with a very small dose..u can always double it the second time if u dont get too highthe 1st time..
alotta ppl whove done tons of psychodelics wont mess with belodonna...sothink hard b4 u decide totry

"trip" isn't the word for it; it's more of a "stupor".

be sure to have lots of cold water nearby, you'll really want it.

First off, the belladonna wouldnt be for me, secondly after reading many of the erowid experiences, i have decided that tea is not the way to go. I read somewhere that smoking the leaves produces what some call and almost enjoyable experience. The website said 1/10 gram of the leaves will do that. I figured that this seems like a better choice than tea because it has less variables to worry about. I would still like some people who have tried it in any form to post their experience.

I would think that the erowid experience vaults would sufficiently dissuade you from trying belladonna. It is really a horrible drug. My friend did deliriants and was unable to tell the real from unreal, and was heavily sedated. It is in no way "enjoyable". Unlike psychedelics and disassociatives, hallucinations on deliriants can actually hurt you. Not to mention it lasts for ever, and it is impossible to play it cool.

If you want to experiment with deliriants it's probably easier for you to pick up a pack of benedryl or another antihistamine at your local general store.

Although, I must mention getting high on Benedryl is the biggest loser thing in the world. It would be like say... downing bottles of Vicks 44 for a high ;).

The nightshade im talking about isnt even Atropa Belladonna. Im talking about Solanum dulcamara. It is a weaker relative and is known as Climbing Nightshade. Or bittersweet nightshade. I did take about a milimeter long square piece of leaf, to see how much should really be done before my friend tries any amount, and it definately made my pupils dialate but the dose of ATROPA Belladonna smoked is still 1/10 a gram. Which is probably quite a bit more than i did even though its still a tiny amount. I dont know if this plant is hallucinogenic but it is used by doctors to dialate pupils and is toxic. If anyone wants to add anything about Nightshade. Please do.
