I don't wanna go in. It's a dinky 3 hour shift but it means I have to get dressed for it, go out in public with my coral pink hair (not happy bout that). I got talked into it because they said they were gonna be super busy today because of an ad in the paper, but the weather's too nice for us to be super busy.

I feel like a bum, but I don't wanna go.

The way I see it is this:

With everything you do in life it carries into the next. Responsibility is doing the mundane things you don't want to do. You say it's a dinky three hour shift, but instead try to realize that it's only three hours out of your day. I'm willing to bet if you don't go in you'll kick yourself for it later. Especially if you sit here for the next three hours ;)

no, not any more. I quit that job and went back to a normal Monday to Friday job.

I only work part time though remember, I'm a student too. This is a shift I picked up, wasn't originally scheduled for it but the asst manager asked me to work it.

I'll probably go, just because calling in is almost as much effort as going in for three hours.

I have a job for you...... it pays 45 bucks an hour, and usually its only 10 minutes at a time. but you have to be on call

retail, shoes, in a 'warehouse' setting (ie customers primarily help themselves since all our sizes are below the display show in the bunks). But, 9% commission, it's good stuff.

commission jobs are always nice, except the times when you are in a bad mood and only piss people off and not sell them anything.
