What do you watch despite knowing it's really, underneath it all ... well, shit? I'm hooked on "24" with Kiefer Sutherland, and I absolutely love "Hi-5" (mornings, Channel5) an Australian kids TV show where they sing and dance around a bit. I'm in love with one of the presenters, Charlihttp://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif
What do you watch despite yourself? Do you have a comfort film?

Lazytown is hilarious..! Must be all the primary colours i guess, it's a kids show, but one with a good sense of humour.
Apart from that everything else i like is totally respectable and excellent. Erm.. except Big Brother, and all those talking-head Top 100 Whatever shows...

Yeah, I love Lazytown too, tragically. It's the songs, and I reckon that girl might be fit when she grows up....

Much like the guilty pleasure thread in the music forum, I don't think these shows are all that bad...But also like the music thread, I'm the only one I know that watches:
The Dragon's Den
Ray Mears (Whatever he's up to!)
You Are What You Eat
Hell's Kitchen
& (of course!) Neighbours
:)

I'm not sure what you mean by 'Comfort Film' exactly, but if I'm on the right page I'd have to say "The Rock" with Nic Cage and Sean Connery is a bit of a comfort film for me. If I can't think of anything else I fancy, I put The Rock on. And it's not like it's even one of my favourites, just something about it I think's ace! So I've seen it a fair few times...

The Lion in Winter - Katherine Hepburn and Peter O'Toole. Love it, never tire of watching and John Barry's music is great. I've a passion for all things medieval though.
