Hi Nay:)
Question: What does "Nayhem = Genki" actually mean?!
fountains of nay
09-19-2006, 05:25 PM
It's a Japanese word which doesn't actually translate. Mainly, it's a mixture of Happy, lucky, wonderful, nice, fine, lovely, good, great etc.
It's usually used to ask how people are ( O genki desu ka?).
I just love the word, it's genki :D

fountains of nay
09-22-2006, 06:11 PM
I believe in reincarnation of the soul, so yes I suppose I do believe in past lives. :)
@ Peace phoenix, I guess that the meaning of life to me is to live it to the full and to enjoy myself as long as I'm not doing harm to anybody/anything else. Also, to respect the power of the Kami and Karma.

If you believe in reincarnation of the soul, how come the human population is rising so rapidly? There are more humans now than, perhaps, have ever lived in the history of the planet. Do the numbers add up?

Your soul could be reincarnated into a flower or something...

I also used to LOVE Grand Designs because of Kevin McCloud (what a legend) and also Newsnight because I must admit, I'm a Paxman fan.
Reality TV is also quite amusing at times, e.g Street Crime UK LMAO :D

I feel it went badly, but not just for me... for everybody so that isn't so bad.
Test was on Verb Tenses, diagrams for verb tenses, Teaching styles and their pros/cons, Learner levels and their capabilities, Cambridge Testing Systems, Common European frameworks, Participle tables, Making a lesson plan to compare present perfect and past simple verb tenses, Using the PPP forumlation and trying to estimate timings for each activity.
On top of all that, I had to plan a couple of lessons.

Digimon are bloody terrible nasty little pokémon ripoffs!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Yu-Gi-Oh, more than Pokémon actually. However, I only really got into the first series...after that it really starts losing the plot and changing the game just isn't cool.
Also, there's no Pegasus in the newer series' and I must admit, I have a little crush on him and his camp voice.

What would you do if you won a tonne of money, I mean, loads a maneyyyyy.
Would you:
1 Retire early and leisurely go about your world.
2 Or get up in the morning and do the daily grind.
Rhetorical but you may surprise.
3 What, you would give all away to charity?
So number 1 .Where would you like to visit and for how long?
How would you like to get there:
1 Walk
2 Fly
3 Sail
Would you buy a huge massive house or go for the camper van and sub let the villa to rich Londoners for the weekends and hols?

If I had loads of money, I'd get really scared because I've never had loads of money. I'd have to give some of it away, probably to the Lifeboats, as they're a voluntary service and need more money than they receive currently.
Having stopped sketching out, I would then retire early and go about my world.
Where would I visit... I've already been to Japan several times, so I can't pick it again. I suppose my next port of call would probably be Malaysia, as I have friends from there and I've always wanted to visit Singapore.:)
