I wanna see D21C SO bad!! They came here in 2003 five days after my b-day in march. I was still in 8th grade and heavily into the Beatles yet. Robby was my b-day present and I didn't even know he existed! (Robby's my fave) *cries* Oh well. I heard they're coming here early next year maybe....

Whats the point of seeing the doors without jim morrison???????????????????
Of course robbie and ray are excellent musicians, but jim made the doors what they are. Not some guy from the Cure.

lucky. arent they touring without densmore though? i think he has his own jazz type band down in florida. oh well. i think robby's unique guitar style & ray's organ skills really make the doors..of course jim morrison's voice..but his spirit will be there.
try a shamans dance :)

yeah, john isn't with them anymore. to make a really long story short, he didn't want to perform without jim. (its in his 'riders on the storm' book.) to be honest, i kind of admire him for his choice.

I'm a big doors fan. But I'm not sure if Jim would want them to keep playing under the orginal band name. I just have that feeling and personal opinion. I cant even begin to explain it. :P
It would be a great show to see, But I dont think they should be calling themselves
'The Doors' anymore...

Yeah. They kinda should change that up. Its not all of them. 3/4 of the doors. So its not the doors. Jim was a god. I love him forever.
But I still wanna see Ray

Ok-to replace Morrison all they need to do is find some guy in his 20s and put him in leather pants and get him real drunk-now lip synk all the old songs and midway through the show have him pass out on stage and have the band drag him off -show over-Believe it or not this is what we got the last time I saw The Doors at an outdoor concert in San Jose in the late 60s. Only it was really Jim up there.Fortunately there was about 10 other groups.
