well before there george martin's wild cards and tmnt, there was this joke about firetrucks. i seem to recall the point about turtles was supposedly you turn them on their backs and they can't get back up again. much as i love the notion of erotic gratification, i prefer not to be incapacitated, although i do find bondage STORIES inspiring.

The turtle's were a club around in the seventies, which had like picnics n stuff, you received a membership card etc, dont think they are still around tho.
